Meet Jenell, a Dedicated CNA

Jenell brings nearly 30 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), dedicating her career to caring for older adults with compassion and respect. At The Pines, she plays an essential role in supporting assisted living residents with daily activities and personal care, helping ensure each person feels supported, valued, and seen.

For Jenell, caregiving in senior living is more than a job. It is a calling rooted in making a meaningful difference.

“What motivates me most is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others,” Jenell says. “I take pride in being a dependable leader who demonstrates dedication, compassion, and reliability every day.”

That sense of purpose fuels her commitment to show up fully for residents and teammates alike, an important part of life at The Pines.

Jenell is open about the realities of working in senior care. Supporting individuals during vulnerable moments can be demanding, both physically and emotionally. Still, she sees those challenges as an important part of providing truly meaningful care.

“Supporting individuals during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives can be both demanding and challenging, but it is also incredibly rewarding,” she says.

Her ability to meet those moments with empathy and steadiness is what makes her such a trusted presence for residents and colleagues.

The most meaningful part of Jenell’s work is seeing the impact of quality senior care firsthand. Whether it is a smile, renewed confidence, or a sense of comfort, those moments stay with her.

“The joy of seeing a resident smile, regain confidence, recover, or simply feel safe and cared for is what inspires me to continue serving others,” she says. “Knowing that I have provided the highest quality of care and contributed to someone’s well-being brings me a deep sense of purpose and satisfaction.”

These everyday moments are what continue to inspire her after nearly three decades in the field.

Jenell’s dedication reflects the heart of The Pines and Cassia’s mission to foster fullness of life for older adults in the spirit of Christ’s love. We are grateful for Jenell and all team members who bring compassion, skill, and purpose to their work each day.
