About
The Pines is a senior living community for adults aged 55 and older.
Our community combines the convenience of a prime Richfield location with comprehensive amenities and services. Located near Wood Lake Nature Center, we offer both the serenity of nature and easy access to shopping, restaurants and medical services.
The Pines offers independent living, assisted living and care suites, providing a continuum of care to meet different needs and lifestyles.
Apartment Features
Weekly light housekeeping is included in assisted living and care suites. Additional housekeeping services are available.
Apartments include full kitchens (with refrigerator, stove and microwave), private bathrooms with walk-in showers and grab bars, individual climate controls and window blinds.
We offer studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. Care suites are also available. Contact us for current floor plans and availability.
Community Life & Activities
Yes, we offer men’s and women’s groups, intergenerational programs, resident-run activities and various clubs. Our common areas provide perfect spaces for socializing.
Yes, we offer scheduled transportation for shopping, community events, medical appointments, religious services and organized outings.
Our senior living community features a patio, sculpture garden, landscaped areas, walking paths and courtyard. Residents can enjoy gardening, organized walks and outdoor social gatherings.
Dining Services
We offer flexible dining options including full meal plans and individual meal purchases. Contact us for current dining options and pricing.
Healthcare & Support Services
We offer many healthcare services to our residents in assisted living and care suites, with personal care staff on duty 24 hours per day.
We offer chapel services, spiritual activities, communion, virtual services and Bible study. Our chaplain is available for spiritual support while respecting all faiths and beliefs.
Living Options & Care
While we don’t offer traditional nursing home care, our care suites provide a high level of personalized care in a residential setting, including 24-hour staffing, assistance with daily living activities and medication management. This offers an alternative to nursing home care while maintaining a more home-like environment.
We accept Medicaid. We do not accept HUD, Medicare or Section 8.
Base rent includes utilities (except private landline), cable TV, WiFi, maintenance, scheduled activities and emergency response system. Assisted living and care suites include additional care services in their base packages.
Assisted living provides support while maintaining independence in your own apartment, with a base health care service level that includes 24-hour staff and personal care services. Care suites offer a higher level of care with 24/7 nursing staff and comprehensive support services for those needing more assistance, combining apartment-style living with enhanced care services.

We have an on-site salon/barber shop, spiritual services, common areas and maintenance services.
